Ruby on Rails Development Services
Rails is still one of the fastest ways to get a real product to market. We build modern Rails apps with Hotwire, solid test coverage and a clear path to scale, and we keep older Rails apps healthy.

Why Ruby on Rails
Why teams choose Ruby on Rails
Speed to market
Convention over configuration means less boilerplate and a working product sooner.
One coherent codebase
Models, views, jobs and mailers in one place that a small team can hold in their head.
Hotwire for rich UIs without an SPA
Turbo and Stimulus deliver fast, interactive pages with a fraction of the JavaScript.
A proven path to scale
Rails runs some of the largest apps on the web; we know the patterns that get you there.
Use cases
What we build with Ruby on Rails
MVPs and early-stage products
Get a fundable, real product in front of users in weeks.
Marketplaces and SaaS
Subscriptions, multi-tenancy and admin tooling that Rails handles well.
Internal business systems
CRUD-heavy operations tools built quickly and maintained cheaply.
Rails upgrades and rescues
Bringing a stalled or outdated Rails app back to a supported, testable state.
How we work
How we build Ruby on Rails products
The same delivery discipline on every engagement, whatever the stack.
Discovery before code
A short kickoff to agree scope, architecture and the riskiest assumptions, so the first sprint moves in the right direction.
Trunk-based delivery
Small pull requests reviewed within hours, merged behind feature flags, and deployed continuously.
Tests that pay for themselves
Unit tests for logic, integration tests for the seams, and a thin layer of end-to-end tests on the paths that matter.
Observability from day one
Structured logs, traces and dashboards in place before launch, not after the first incident.
Documented and handed over
Architecture decision records, a running runbook, and a codebase your own team can own the day we leave.
Stack
The Ruby on Rails stack we reach for
Sensible defaults, not a fixed menu. We adapt to what your team already runs.

FAQ
Ruby on Rails FAQ
Is Rails still relevant?
Yes. Rails 7 with Hotwire is a productive, modern stack, and it still powers large companies. It is an excellent choice when time to market matters.
Do I need React with Rails?
Often not. Hotwire covers most interactivity. We add React or a small SPA only for genuinely app-like sections.
Can you upgrade our Rails 4 or 5 app?
Yes. We upgrade one minor version at a time, get the test suite green first, and replace unmaintained gems along the way.
How does Rails scale?
Horizontal web and job workers, a well-indexed Postgres, caching with Redis, and moving heavy work to background jobs. We add read replicas and sharding only when the data demands it.
